Specialized Online Therapy for Anxiety & Complex Trauma
I’m Molly McCune, a licensed psychotherapist specializing in anxiety, panic disorder, complex trauma (C-PTSD), and medical trauma. Since 2020, I’ve provided compassionate, solution-focused care to adult individuals seeking to overcome anxiety, learn healthy boundaries, and reclaim emotional safety.
My clients often come to me experiencing:
- Persistent worry and racing thoughts
- Panic attacks and fear of future attacks (often while driving or flying)
- Effects of childhood trauma or long-term relational trauma
- Medical trauma or anxiety around healthcare
- Difficulty setting boundaries in relationships
- Feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns
My Approach: Direct, Compassionate, & Solution-Focused
I use an integrative therapeutic approach that draws from multiple evidence-based modalities:
- Attachment-Based Therapy (ABT) – Understanding how early relationships shape current relationship patterns. Want to know your attachment style? Take the quiz here
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) – Building skills in emotional regulation and distress tolerance
- Exposure Therapy (ET) – Gradually facing fears in a safe, controlled way
- Gottman Method – Evidence-based approach for relationship issues
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Working with different “parts” of yourself
- Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) – Developing kindness toward yourself
- Modern Psychodynamic Therapy – Exploring unconscious patterns and emphasizing resilience
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy – Practical, goal-oriented approach focused on solutions
- Somatic Therapy – body based healing
What makes my approach different: My communication style is direct, emotion-focused, evidence-based, and intuitive. I provide clear, actionable feedback and actively collaborate with you to create real change. Working with me feels like a good decision… and empowering.
